The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has issued another international tender to purchase 50,000 tonnes of white sugar, European traders said on Monday. The latest tender from any origin world-wide closes on February 22 and continues a surge of purchase interest from the country.

The TCP has in the past week issued two other separate tenders for 50,000 tonnes each, closing on February 15 and February 20. The TCP has in the past month issued tenders to import 150,000 tonnes of white sugar, one of which will close on February 13. Another tender for 150,000 tonnes will close on February 6.
